FCUO Manchester - MATCH THREAD 2
« on: December 30, 2016, 01:21:07 AM »

Manchester 2/5
Draw 7/2
Alty 6/1

Nine players missingfrom tonight's P-P game with Macclesfield, Hopefullt we will see a decent number back for New Year's Day. Plus the new lad on loan and hopefully a striker coming in. New ground for most, and despite people's reservations and despite the numerous false dawns and let downs this last year let's hope we can see good numbers in attendance. We'd think nothing of taking 4 & 500 to Chester and Northwich and despite what the 400+ got served up at Stockport a couple of weeks ago. Dust ourselves down and go again.

Good line up Tommy. Lets hope our luck changes and we can get the striker in today for Sunday.

I'll be there plus 2.

Unless Reeves' hamstring has has had a remarkable recovery I wouldn't be playing him.

If we get this striker in then I'd play him with Wilkinson behind him.

I really want to be positive and certainly with the new winger and hopefully centre forward, we'll be able to convert possession into chances and hopefully goals. However, when I see our line ups this season I can always see us conceding 2 or 3 goals. More than anything, we need a tall, commanding, experienced centre half. I know they don't grow on trees, but I'm convinced that is what we need to pull ourselves upwards.

Why are you playing a hamstring hampered Reeves?
