Excellent book

Hi All,

I've just finished reading "The Bottom Corner: A Season with the Dreamers of Non-League Football" by Nige Tassell - I can highly recommend it to any non-league fans, especially those of clubs under-achieving! It covers last season and Alty get a few mentions but some of the scenarios are oh so familiar with Bishop Sutton sounding like us this season.  Light hearted but well written, it accurately portrays  life in the real football world. Recommended.

The Bromley Boys by Dave Roberts is also a very good book about the non-league experience.

"Home and Away", Dave Roberts' account of the 2015-16 season from a Bromley perspective, is also good (Cult put me on to this one!)

I got this book for Christmas, as you say it's excellent. At the end of the book, we see Grimsby's last home game where they need us to beat Braintree for them to go up...and we all know how that went!
