Match report- 18 points from safety

The match report as usual was well written but it is irritating to read how many points from safety alty are- its just rubbing salt into the wound- we are a million points from safety- we are relegated and need to release as much deadwood now to save funds and prepare a squad to win the glue league next season. Promote some reserves and play some kids to the end of this season and get some new blood in during summer and we just might have half a chance of coming straight back up! We deserve better than this shower of white we have become!!

We're truly screwed now. If we play kids n reserves we'll start getting proper tonked every week by 4-6 goals. Then even the curious ones will stop turning up. In turn by saving a few hundred a week we could lose thousands in gate revenue.

If we get a few points and keep this charade up for a bit longer we'll keep pulling in mystifyingly big crowds for a few more games to see us through to the end.

We're in a complete lose lose here. December was the last chance to turn it round and throw serious money at it, instead we signed a 40yr old, a Barrow reserve, a striker from the only team who hasn't scored against us in the league and another reserve left back.

We've had countless false dawns now where we kid ourselves there's hope but realistically we are screwed. What do they work on in training? Week after week we concede silly goals and commit suicide before we get chance to achieve anything.

This is now like an awful addiction. You feel dirty after you've done it and say you'll never again but knowing deep down next week you'll go back for more with the same deteriorating hope and not seeing a way out of the cycle dreaming of hitting rock bottom and craving normality.
