The sad demise of Damian Reeves

What a shame that our lasting impression of such a key player for the club is going to be him running around doing nothing.

We would have won that today with Andy Owens on the pitch. All we needed was a presence and something to make it stick in the final third.

Unfortunately, Reeves hasn't provided that or anything at all for that matter since September. Another non existent performance. Huffing and puffing his way around the pitch with absolutely zero substance. In seasons gone by, when he had that sharpness and the ability to fashion himself something, he may have got away with it today.

Unfortunately I have to agree, its a real shame. Not sure what is exactly wrong but we are pretty toothless upfront these days. Hope we can find a few new decent strikers over the summer.

I think it's time he stopped sulking and fell on his sword.

Bored of his poor attitude this season, should be working hard to stay sharp and drag us out of this mess

I don't doubt his work rate, effort or feelings for the club. John Cyrus works equally as hard and gets a lot of stick. Damian Reeves should be no different because if anything he's underperformed on a more consistent basis. The guy isn't on £50 and a bag of sweets.

I thought he had a really good game today. He was really disruptive whereas previously he would have been fairly benign. I predict Halifax next year for Mr Reeves.

Should have gone last season with Moult and Lawrie

If you're suggesting that Reeves, Moult and Lawrie should be here next year then I worry for your mental health. You are aseriously deluded.

Reeves should be forced to play every game to earn his ridiculous wages. As things stand, a player who has bordered on legendary at this clubs because of his goal scoring history is in serious danger of undoing his reputation by showing absolutely no will or desire.

Real shame about Reeves, he has been really poor this season. However I would keep Moult if possible, think he still has something to offer us.

Thought Moult had an excellent game yesterday, except for the penalty. Reeves did try yesterday I thought, but got no service as usual. I hope he may yet start banging them in again.

Moult was our best player, aside from shocking 3 dead ball deliveries.

Yes quite bizarre tactics, a centre back taking corners. Not something you see too often!
