I went to see my local team yesterday, who many on here will recall-Fisher FC. Now back in their spiritual home of the Docklands after years away. Bumped into Jimmy Hill there, short conversation about Alty, both worked out neither of us would bother attending another game this season. The most important thing left for us now is the Review next Sunday.
does fishers ground still have the mini wemberley towers

No, they haven't played there for a few years. The reformed club have now got a ground on Salter Road, which is the same road as the ground we have played on, but I believe it's a completely different site

Exactly. The new ground is on the opposite side of the same street only a few hundred yards from the original which is now housing. Stunning views of Canary Wharf as the backdrop to the new ground which is known as St Paul's. Fairly basic maybe 250 seater main stand and cover behind one goal with other two sides completely open.

Harrogate's manager summed it up in his post match interview

"It's not the place it was a couple of years ago here with an upbeat atmosphere..it was very flat coming out for the warm up"

Talks about the pitch a lot

Supporters are not missing. Supporters are boycotting, and will be doing until this
Chairman steps down. That is the only way the supporters will unite behind club once more. It is not a witch hunt, it is wanting culpability for failure, and wanting to see the 'football' club where it should be.

I used to get irritated by managers constantly referring to their "football club" during interviews.

Now that we're more of a "community asset" I see where those guys are coming from.

As if Harrogate's pitch was always a bowling green? Remember going there couple of years ago, and it resembled a lake.

It's grass, not fake and is therefore susceptible to weathering. The ref has the final say on its safety and game worthiness, so it is the same for both teams.

If Harrogate choose to train and play on plastic, then struggle on grass its their fault and nobody else's.

They can do one.

The pitch is fine. Partly due to the fact thar the ball is very rarely on it!
