Big day anticipated but it didn't unfold like many other cup runs. The ticketing and segregation with Orient given the end of the popular side meant our support was divided. Despite todays capacity there was room and it was pre barriers. One of my most disappointed cup days despite such a big up. Not a patch on Sheffield United.

They had the pop side at the Golf Road end?  Vics stood there, but they are funny set of biscuits anyway.

I worked there for three years when it first opened. I remember watching most of an afternoon cup game against Bangor City from the roof !
