Thank you Flynny, I had those two that Bob mentioned in my mind but weren't aware of others.

I think Yeovil beating Sunderland is probably the biggest giantkilling. But i loved it when Colchester beat Leeds.

If they pull it off against Arsenal it certainly will be the greatest ever shock

I don't think a real giant killing is possible now. Most teams play reserves and squad players. I have never heard of most of the Arsenal team that beat Sutton.

Arsenal
13Ospina Colombia Internatial
5Gabriel   Brazilian defender ex Villareal
20Mustafi  German International
16Holding  England U21
18Monreal Spain International
35Elneny Substituted for Oxlade-Chamberlain   Egypt International replaced by England International
29Xhaka    Swiss International
31Reine-Adelaide Substituted for Maitland-Niles  19yr old French midfielder replaced by 19yr old English midfielder
14Walcott  England International
9Pérez  Spaniard signed from Deportivo
17Iwobi Substituted for Sánchez at 74'  Nigeria International replaced by Chile International

If you've never heard of most of them you don't watch much football! The majority are regulars in the Arsenal matchday squad and full internationals!

Heard of  - Ospina Walcott  Oxlade-Chamberlain Monreal Sánchez
Never heard of  - Pérez  Mustafi  Holding  Reine-Adelaide Maitland-Niles
Vaguely know the name - Elneny Xhaka  Gabriel   Iwobi

I have no interest in the premier league but my point is only about three of these are regular first team players. In the 70's when giant killing was at it's peak the best teams didn't treat the competition as a waste of time. They played their best players.

Yes wonderful memories of Alty in the FA Cup......first big win I remember was going to see the Robins beat Rochdale away......then there was Wolves away ....0-5 but still a great day plus the best of the lot going to White Hart Lane to see a great 1-1 draw.......John King made the acquaintance of Ossie Ardiles after about 30 seconds and in the end we were unlucky only to get a draw. I unfortunately missed the Birmingham victory which must have been brilliant.

Great memories
