It could be worse. Former rivals Enfield are playing in the Essex senior league where the crowd are often outnumbered by the players.

Automatic promotion to the league has caused a lot of problems. For the first few seasons it was a good thing, but now there are so many former league clubs all with more money and more support than clubs like Altrincham. It is getting harder to compete.

Agreed - if we were in Conf National

However this season we have not competed with anyone; including Curzon Ashton, BPA and teams with no ground and no support
