National League Trust Regional Finals
« on: March 29, 2017, 03:32:08 PM »

We're super proud of St Vincent's pupils for their hard work and commitment to representing Altrincham FC yesterday at the National League Trust regional primary school finals.
After winning our local tournament in February, St Vincent's spent the last five weeks with our coaches in preparation for yesterday. The winning team in the regional have the opportunity to represent the North West at Wembley in May.

Our tournament group opponents yesterday were: AFC Telford, Macclesfield Town, Stalybridge Celtic and Stockport County. Two losses, a draw and a win (against AFC rivals Macc Town) were unfortunately not enough to progress to the semi finals. In the other group, the teams were: AFC Fylde, Tranmere Rovers, Chester City, Southport and Barrow.
Telford and Stockport made the final respectively, which goes to show the level of competition we faced in our group. Our team were incredible throughout the day, displaying great team work and footballing skills.

We'd like to express a huge thank you to St Vincent's Primary School, SK Kits, Stockport County (hosts) and The National League Trust for an amazing day! Images can be found on our social media and website pages.
