BBC website says Duncan may need a second operation after returning to light training and feeling some discomfort.

Thanks for the ongoing interest and concern. Surgeon predicted this back in December in large percentage of cases. Relatively minor op unlike last time. He's back home and well so shouldn't be a problem in the big scheme of things. Unlike Sunderland's form.....

Many thanks. Unlike some who aren't arsed I always keep an eye and ear open for ex-Alty, Duncan being the most covered in terms of media.

Best of luck.

I have done some whole scale editing of this thread, apologies if this offends but the thread is clearly about Duncan and his injury and should not be used for abusive comments between fans.

Hope your rehab goes well fella.
It will be good to see you back playing..

Well done Toff Apple. This thread doesn't need unnecessary off topic posts.

Best of luck to Duncan with the remainder of his rehabilitation.

Possibly a bit insensitive on this thread, but Sunderland's imminent relegation has got to be a good thing as it'll be a great shop window for Duncan once he's back (assuming we have a sell on in place).

Good luck Duncan, get well soon.

Would have thought crystal palace would be a good bet for Duncan?....£15m would get him I'd assume , that would represent excellent value.....would Duncan go there to work with sam again?

I'm guessing he'd have to prove his fitness first therefore making a move in the first transfer window unlikely
