Altrincham FC are pleased to confirm the following pre season friendlies:

No, I don't think they ever have been. In fact, they were relegated from the Welsh Premier to the Cymru Alliance last season, even though they were one of the "big" clubs (sound familiar?)  with a ground fit to host European football.

Actually, it's the other way round. The back of the main stand and the car park on the main stand side is in England, the whole of the pitch and virtually all of the spectator area is in wales. In theory, the teams may get changed in one country and then run out on the pitch and play in another!

That may be what the official line is however the land was extremely cheap being on the Dee flood plain, at the end of a light industrial estate on the outskirts of town and opposite a tip!
