The way I read it is the JD Davison  sponsorship is separate from the other potential investment.

Subtle difference. He initiated it himself at Harrogate, without any prompting from the club he joined (us). Not so this time.

Because the purchasing team would have to pay for the privilege, whats the point in having contracts at all then?  Do you think Clee would have refused to play...my guess stockport
