Expected to sign full time for Chesterfield. And we thought he wasn't good enough.

Personally speaking I thought Jordan was pretty solid

Lots of people disliked him because of his dad for some odd reason

It's safe to say though most of the players that people thought were rubbish over the  last 18 months were pretty fair assessments

Very much a case of managers (including his father) not getting the best out of him at Alty. I thought he was a tidy player when I saw him without really influencing a game.

Good luck to him he's worked hard to stay in football and carve a career.

The lad looked like a confidence player to me - the weight of the 'nepotism' tag seemed to weigh on his shoulders a bit too much.

You could see there was a decent player in there - good luck to him I say.

To be fair.........as an Altrincham player, did he really do anything wrong other than be inconsistent and be played out of position? The 'manager's son' tag did not help him

Not surprised has a L2 gig..........he took quite a drop when he left Huddersfield to join us

I thought he was always technically sound but was fine with him leaving as he probably wasn't that arsed about playing for us once his dad had gone. He was unfairly made a scapegoat during the National League relegation season, other players were far more disappointing that campaign.

Didn't he actually score goals once Lee had bombed out  - cannot be bothered to check the records

Yes he did. He scored two goals in the first two games after Lee went, plus one later on.
If anything, it seemed as if some pressure was lifted from his shoulders then, but he was always subject to some unfair criticism because of who his father was.

Good going forward at right back as he had a decent cross, but awful, I mean awful at defending. Always seemed a lack of effort. Better in centre midfield but in a 3. However in my opinion only good enough in centre mid at Conference North level. I will surprised if he makes it as a centre mid in the league.

Agree with all this.

I suspect that the above two posters, like me, remember his horror show at Guiseley.

Yes, he was moderate for us but seemed to try well enough. If a young man proves us wrong and succeeds in making a career for himself then that's a good thing isn't it?
