It seems that City of Manchester Ladies have folded so we are left with a 10 team Division. FC Utd and Warrington Wolverines look like the teams to be competing for the league title. On last seasons form Alty Ladies should finish in 3rd place.

Despite the scoreline the ladies have much to be pleased with

Our first game as opposed to their sixth I believe

Everyone performed well - debutants fitted in excellently and our returning player looked like she'd never been away

Lizzie had to catch one long range effort and fish the ball out of the net twice whilst we hit post and crossbar and forced some decent saves from the home keeper(s)

The second half was played almost entirely in the Denbigh half of the pitch

Now we can continue to move forward!!

The Ladies have entered the FA Women's Cup for the 1st time this season. They have been given a tricky tie in the 1st Qualifying Round being drawn away at FC Utd to be played on the 3rd September. Which means the league game at home to Liverpool Feds res has been postponed to be rearranged at a later date.
