Clearly still a bit sore after the mixed reception the team got on Saturday but otherwise he sounds very confident and positive. I'll be interested to see if his words have an effect on Hannigan moving forward.

I thought there was a touch of the Jim Harvey's about Nantwich's boss, calling JJ 'Jordan' Johnson twice, claiming they had the best GK in the league (certainly didn't sound like that going off the commentary) and cutting across the interviewer a lot. Sounded a somewhat confused old boy.

I was stood behind the penalty box area when the pen was given and I admit the line markings were not very clear JJ was inside the box when he was tripped..
I reckon PP doesn't like criticism, your the manager of Alty pal not Barca

There manager reckons his keeper is the best in the league!!! Wouldn't fancy seeing the worst one.

Nice ground but the lights weren't brilliant.... Hope PP doesn't mind me saying that.  ::)

Must admit I'm very disappointed that he managed to throw a dig at the fans in the interview when there wasn't a need to.

Lights you say? I thought they were glow worms. Seriously I wondered if they were LEDs. They really weren't good enough.

I must have been stood next to you. I was about 10 yards from the 18 yard line and I couldn't see it. More whitewash needed. Definitely a foul though. Whether it was in the box or not I couldn't say.

Managers at this level should not be interviewed on a game-by-game basis.

Maybe interview a player or the Assistant, break it up a bit.

I was stood very close to the penalty incident. I couldn't see the lines either, but it was a trip. Was commenting to a few people 2nd half at how bad the lights were.

Look, we should lay off PP's back and let him manage the side. There was enough in the 2nd half to suggest we'll be just fine.

I was expecting another real dig at the fans having read some of the comments here before listening, but I didn't think that was a bad interview at all. Fair play to him.

It definitely needs breaking up a bit, at least with our own internal post match coverage. I don't think its healthy to be hearing from him this often. We never had this with Sinnott, and if we had, I think this forum would have imploded at some point.

I notice Phil has deactivated his Twitter, too.

I agree. He does though either need to stop reading the forum/Facebook or understand and accept that these are places for fans to voice their opinions rather than show their support. He seems to resent criticism and that's not a helpful attitude.

I've no issue with his small reference to the fans (when he said slaughtered this week he meant Nantwich fans and locals but I had to listen twice.  He is allowed to disagree with what people have said as we are allowed to disagree with him.

He used the word outstanding for a 3-0 home defeat, for me (and 20 others who have spoke to me/I have spoken to about it) that was not the right word. It wasn't terrible and I wasn't expecting him to slaughter it but it inflamed shell shocked people a little.

Results will come, I like him as a manager and a talker bar Saturday.

I enjoyed the fight shown last night, the support given and the way everyone tried to stay behind them.
