Bottom of the league when they came to us, and many (including me) were pessimistic after we threw away a two goal lead before winning 4-2.

Tonight they sit second in the table. Maybe we got a better result than we thought that day.....but more likely it's just another illustration of the mediocre standard of the Evostink League.

Also strange are Stafford: 3-0 opening day winners at Alty but now 21st in the table.

As I said before the Workington game, there aren't any good teams at this level and all have flaws so entirely expected that teams can lose 2-5 one week and win 6-0 the next.

It's a poor level, slow and not technically adept so anything can happen
