That 2005 squad was probably my favourite Alty side, purely based on the mix of quality and team spirit that brought us through in the end. A top, top group of lads!

Earned us our deserved promotion on merit.....still remember the pride of being an Alty fan as those boys many of whom were absolutely knackered steamrollered us to promotion...nothing was going to stand in their way.

I wonder if Mr Garnett bought them a drink on Saturday or if he kept well clear....
