If we'd had made 8 changes this first half might be understandable

Yes
Dire stuff

Maybe start the game second half ?

unable to put a bet on Alty FC winning by 3-0 today...Bet365 waste of space!

Harder than it needed to be but ultimately comfortable it sounded. The red card sounded harsh. What will the ban be?

First half was poor.
Again Thompson's kicking was shocking and puts the other team immediately on the attack. When it is rolling towards him, he kicks it very strange and tries to go for power rather than get underneath it.
Poole and Hancock sometimes need a rocket up their bums.
Second half was much better. Poole stepped up playing deeper after Moult was sent off. Harrop was fantastic when he came on.
I would consider bringing Peers back in. We were more dangerous with Johnston on the left and Peers on the right. More energy in the team.
We need give Miller game time.
Considering we had 10 men for a good 25 mins then it is a great result.
Defence stood strong yet again. Harrison is so demanding.

Agreed....we made hard work of it today, but the 3-0 score line does not reflect that we never really got out of first gear and made hard work of it. Two late goals and their goalie throwing one into the net.
JJ tore their defence apart at times, but struggled with the final ball into the box.
I thought Bembo-Lita looked OK at the back and Harrop looked lively when he came on.
We do seem to struggle down the middle at times, Richman and Moult play fairly deep and JJ/Hancock go wide leaving an empty space in the middle, which Clitheroe made the most of.
But onwards and upwards, the sign of a good team is when you win and don't play well.

What was the sending off for?

It looked like it was for foul and abusive language. Moult appeared to think he had been fouled, or that the ref should have stopped the game as he was lying on the pitch holding his head, and when he got up he addressed some comments rather forcefully in the direction of the referee who without hesitation pulled out the red card.

A blank midweek is most welcome as for the third consecutive game we started slowly. I think the massive list of games has been catching up with us, so I'm delighted that we've managed to get through today and secure a midweek without a game. Hopefully we come back a bit less sluggish.

Class showed in the second half, started very brightly and got the break through fortunately through a keeper mistake. Well done to Tom Peers for coming on and being super clinical.

Credit to Clitheroe who performed at a level well above some of the league sides we've hosted this season. Keeper doesn't make that mistake and it's potentially a different game.

I think telling the referee he is ******* **** is highly likely to be a sending off offence.

Very much so, particularly as he's captain. Needs to lead by example

Should really be stripped of the captaincy if we're being honest - what a poor example to give, typical of the current game. I wonder what ATS makes of it?

i'm thinking the ref was from a higher division. different style to the reffing we've been seeing this season. and jake should have known he was a stickler after the way as captain he was called over when the ref spoke to one of the other players.

Seriously?

So the red mist decended  for a brief moment, all part and parcel of the game, and if truth been known,he(the ref)
Was exactly what Jake suggested.I am sure Jake will know he let himself and the team down, and he will no doubt
Get a bollocking from Phil, but please don't make him a scape goat.
Let's move on.

There were quite a few neutrals on the half way line. I couldn't work out whether they were from Buxton. Didn't have Yorkshire accents. Anyway they've got JJ down as the one to deal with.
