Seconded. I think this transcends just our club and the fixture in question, to be honest. A clear disregard for this level of football, probably born out of the presumption that we won't be taking many fans / it won't matter too much.

Another glaring indication of why we need to get ourselves out of this cesspit of a league this season. It is quite obviously expected that clubs and their fans will be passive enough to brush off a postponement like this. Barwell might not be that bothered but we would have had 150-200 there on Monday.

What an absolute bloody disgrace. I almost had to check the date to see if was an April Fools.

Complete and utter disregard for the fans, well I hope Mansfield rub their noses in it now and give them a tonking. Be an audience of around 3 at their recreation ground on Monday night, embarrassing them on live terrestrial TV.

SHAMBOLIC. I hope the Club are not just going to lie back with their legs in the air and accept this without registering ...at the very least...a very strong protest at the way we have been turned over. Some have bought tickets, booked off work etc...I hope the Board issue an extremely strong public protest.

Would be good to know whether it was actually Shaw Lane or the FA who sanctioned this (I'm sure Shaw Lane wouldn't have put up much fight against it!). If it was the FA then we wouldn't hold much clout in overturning their decision. If it was Shaw Lane then I agree, hopefully we didn't 'bend over' and let this happen. There probably won't be a better time to play them on their own patch in the remainder of the season, after a ET game in midweek and a 'glamour' cup tie two days before.

We need to insist this is put back to then end of the season when the conditions should suit us more. Playing in a bog in the middle of winter won't suit our game and would be a major disadvantage against what we would have faced Monday.
