Losing on pens doesn't make any difference to unbeaten run ?

It might. I note that City beating Wolves on pens in the league cup still officially counts as part of their current 18 wins on the trot so don’t know if the same rules apply here. It’s still 12 unbeaten in the league mind.

I depends on what the Chester game went down as. If that was classed as a win, then this one surely has to be classed as a loss.

Both, in my opinion, should be recorded as draws, so the run continues.
