Shaw Lane AQUAFORCE- Match Thread
« on: December 04, 2017, 10:00:36 AM »

Shaping up to be a big game Saturday. What we will need is a disciplined performance and strong officials, we can’t rely on the latter in this league but we must be cute enough not to rise to the punching, kicking, pinching and crowding around match officials which is a trait of our opponents. Keep the Ball away from them and they’ll be blowing out of their arses. Take a look at this footage from 5:30 for a flavour of their way of playing.

Is Richman still suspended?

Did Hancock end up playing No10 at the weekend, or did Peers? Was Johnston on the left or the right?

Hopefully Poole will be back to give the Manager some healthy decisions to make.

Shaw are great at home - practically unbeatable in this league to be honest. I can't remember the last time they won away though.
4-1 to us.

They look a right bunch of fkn thugs. Could get a bit tasty on the pitch.

Off the pitch .. lets act like a club that wants to get promoted.  Proper Segregation . No giving them any favour, leave them at the away end so our fans can get behind the team...

Looking forward to this fixture.

We need our lads to keep there heads and play like we normally do and I fancy us to beat the team that's named after a Lido...
C'mon Alty our biggest test so far...

Is Richman still suspended?

Hopefully Poole will be back to give the Manager some healthy decisions to make.

Richman is available. Hancock played as the 10.
did Diamian go there?

Yes.

Thank God Richman's available - I don't fancy Harrop's temperament against this lot unfortunately.

I wonder what JJ's ankles are going to look like on Monday morning...

Good point about Richman. They also have Kieran and Kelvin Lugsden at Shaw Lane where Kelvin, in defence, seems to be the more frequent starter.

I reckon he might just be a back up keeper. 21yr old Myles Wright who was released by Buxton last year. 1 sub appearance for Chesterfield and a short loan spell at BPA so not much experience.

We need to be solid as a rock defensively, not give into their gamesmanship and we'll win 4-0 after they have a player sent off.

Discipline is key.....ARE YOU LISTENING MR HANNIGAN????
