This morning they say 80% ! There's been a frost in Timperley overnight that wasn't forecast either.

Don't think the Pitch will be a problem Today.

Icy roads and Pavements are also taken into consideration around the Ground,However with Temparature now at 5c I don't think there should be an issue

I live near the ground and there's no ice around here though it is cold and raining a bit but after the last match there this is almost a summer game 😂

A big well done to them for giving it as long as possible to clear up.
Like we did last week?

Late inspection works a treat.
I prefer 10am pitch inspections

Largely forgettable 90 mins. Probably a fair result, we had the best 2 chance's,  they were the better team (first half especially).

Don't know if we were poor because of the no game last week or the absence of Hancock.

Neither team had the quality or the courage to break the other down. It was as if the two sides were just carrying on from where they left off last time they met. Dreadful.

I thought we were the better team but they knew how to play us. Both teams cancelled each other out. Conditions didn't really help our style of play.

Pretty toothless upfront today............we could have played all night and not scored

Where was Hancock today ?

Any idea why Richman was subbed ?

Missed Hancock but as the number 10. Richman stepped it up second half but on a yellow and we needed to go attacking so Harrop came on. I am guessing that is the rational.

Hancock plays closer to Hulme. Poole is a bit too deep which means Hulme isolated up top. Poole steeped up in the last 30 mins but still doesn't give enough over 90 mins for me. Hancock isn't scared of shooting either.

I know Miller lost it a couple of times but he was positive and looked sharper after his loan spell. One run was the Miller we love to watch.

Looked a bit rusty today after our two week break,on the whole both teams cancalled each other out
MOM for me today was Ben Harrison a giant at the back and IMO a future Alty skipper. After the game I
Was thinking were this team would sit in the National North,on current showing I would
Imagine mid table, that is not to criticise Phil or the boys, but I am sure Phil  will know were we
Have to strengthen if promotion is achieved this season.Anyway that's for the future, next job is to
Dispose of Warrington on Tuesday night, and then back to league action on Saturday, huge opportunity
To put a bit of daylight between us and the chasing pack after today's results.

I was thinking cold and greasy surface. I think there are three or four teams who can cope with us in this league. The rest aren't good enough. When we get up a leagur I think more teams will ruffle our feathers

Can’t be too critical of a 0-0 at another side in the top 4 after an enforced lay off. Both sides could have nicked it 1-0. Think it will be a different kettle of fish at home. Should we progress than the draw goes national on Monday. Great league results today, shaw lanes games in hand wittling away and still yet to catch us up. Warrington and ourselves will be in Monday’s draw with the following:

Barrow
Billericay
Blyth/Telford
Bognor Regis
Borehamwood/Dartford
Brackley/Braintree
Bromley
Chesham/W-s-M
Dover
East Thurrock
Ebbsfleet
Fylde/Chester
Gateshead/Guiseley
Halifax/Macclesfield
Harrogate
Hendon
Hereford/Dagenham
Heybridge/Hampton
Kidderminster
Leyton Orient
Maidenhead
Maidstone
Marine
Solihull/Tranmere
Spennymoor/Gainsboro
St Albans
Stockport
Stourbridge
Sutton United
Wealdstone
Workington

Actually, Chester and AFC Fylde played to a finish today, as you can do if both clubs agree, with Chester winning on penalties after extra time.
I am confident our game would have gone to a similar conclusion as both teams did a pretty good job of cancelling one another out, but, yes, it could be different at home.

Excellent results in this round for Workington, who beat Hartlepool United, and East Thurrock United, who beat Aldershot 4-0,  while Haringey Borough must have given neighbours Leyton Orient a scare when they led at half time before being beaten. Excellent league results from our point of view too!
