Can't see another 6-0 win this time around...

We're due a draw and I fancy this to be a tight 1-1, conceding late on.

Expect a response from the players after yesterdays narrow defeat.

I would go back the starting 11 for Coalville if all fit, although JJ looking a tad jaded for me, so perhaps give Miller/Peers a go.

Tight game on a heavy pitch, hopefully a 2-1 victory to the Robins

Just put on another thread that it may be an idea to rest JJ again as PP did at the start of the season....I'd go with Miller as he seems to be getting back now...

Otherwise I'd go for the team that beat coalville.

Would be happy with a draw but hoping for a reaction and return to winning ways so I'll go 3-1 to alty

I think JJ will be just fine with a 7 day gap inbetween games. He runs so much, even chasing back that maybe two games in 48hrs may have been a bit too much. Especially on a heavy pitch. I think he will be fine for Saturday and a must starter for me. Moult looks the most fatigued to me.

The kind of runs he does getting traction must have been a big problem on Saturday.

your not wrong the pitch was awful from kick off

There were large areas where the ball did not bounce

Also lots of surface water and players falling over

I'm sure that the first goal for them the ball just dropped dead in front of the player before he smashed it home

It's a shame that despite all the work on the pitch it seems worse than ever now

I know it's been a challenge over the years but its awful

Suspect Hampson will be a miss. White at LB and Hannigan in for Jones. Wouldn't be changing anything else unless forced to.

As disappointing as it was to lose on Monday we did score 3 (again).

Farsley 1-2 Alty Hancock and Johnson

It’s been wet this side of the Pennines since Monday, but I’d have backed us to beat Witton playing on Farsley’s pitch judging by the highlights link on the main website. Tough game no doubt, important to get something after Monday, hopefully a narrow win.

Illness prevents my attending - I think I'm fated never to get to Farsley ... - but all the best to all those travelling & let's hope the performance is as professional & the result as good as the last game I saw (Boxing Day at Marine).
