 Warrington loose 1-0

Notice they also missed a penalty in the final moments.

Stalybridges first away win in 13 attempts having gained only two points on the road before tonight. A 0-3 win for Ashton at Lancaster also, putting them back in the top five

I think our flurry of wins in the Autumn will hopefully see us through, as nobody else seems to be stringing together anything remotely similar.

Coincidentally, we had a similar run through the Autumn period the last time we won the NPL in 1998/99. It was due in no small part to the fact we signed Mark Ward, who was absolutely immense during his first stint with the club.

Hopefully it's a good omen! Smiley

He was. i'll never forget him and Phil Power quite literally running rings round the Hyde United defenders at their place.
