I walked the golf course this morning and there is more standing water on there at present than I've seen this season so far - and my wellies have a split :-(

Whatever our fixture list looks like, Shaw Lane are still 3 games behind us. Their game tonight is already off!

I think we need to recognise Warrington as the chief threat at this point, Shaw Lane have far too much left to do. Warrington's pitch drains superbly and they're creeping back into form.

Workington are a complete mess. Players leaving, injury crisis,, if you fancy a game bring your boots.
First 11 are quality at this level, too many missing to be any threat though. Hence the slide down the table. Last away game at barwell. Could only name 2 players on the bench - a teenager and the manager in his mid 40s. Having said that they outplayed hartlepool and Bromley (home game) in the fa trophy. Anyone's guess what turns up. Bad attitude from too many of them, play when they feel like it.
Reckon it will be on?

I said weeks ago that I was more worried about Warrington. They are a solid decent team.

Indeed. but they also have the same number of league games to fit in as ourselves.

I can see us having more postponements going forward than they do. All it takes is one or two more postponements with them playing and winning, the impetus is then on us to pull away rather than them to chase. Its a possibility if we don't keep pace with them. Whether it would actually have any affect on the outcome of the season remains to be seen, as I think we're capable of dealing with that should it happen.

Pooley's injury-time equaliser in the home game, and its subsequent 3-point swing, could yet prove crucial - although hopefully it won't have to.

Barely, been on for most of the day with only occasional breaks. I wouldn’t have thought there’s much chance of it being playable for tomorrow night....and if it passes inspection I dread to think of the state of it after 90 minutes.

A real shame considering the great efforts made in getting the pitch in much better shape for the Stourbridge game.

Very wet here near the ground but rain has eased, forecast has improved for next 24 hours, so lets hope the pitch can drain a little and firm up enough to get the game on without damaging it to much.

Dry night, and I’m told the pitch is looking in decent shape. Should be on. Will share pictures on Twitter when I have them.
