Alty 2/5
Draw 10/3
Mickleover 5/1

Got to get back to winning ways on Tuesday weather permitting. We’ve had a bit of a wobble, straight back at it boys, long way to go yet

These are a massive, direct team and a Barnes-Homer & Briscoe partnership worries me immensely. Richman has never been an anchor and against these he would have a nightmare on his own. We need Moult in the side.

I'd like to have Richman and Moult in at midfield with Harrop in at number 10. For me, Poole hasn't quite offered enough in the previous games and it's contributed to our underwhelming offensive play.

I'd go with that team too. Maybe there'll be an addition or two to the squad shortly.

Maybe a good shout.

Definitely worth a try as we need to get out of this current malaise.

I'd keep TT in as well - yes he had a 'mare on Saturday but the weather and the uncertainty in front of him was a factor.  Don't see Deasy as an improvement.

Connor Hampson has been brilliant this season but in recent games opposing teams have played a little on his enthusiasm for supporting the attack - several times on Saturday he was left chasing back following a long ball out of their defence. White doesn't get forward as much so may help with stabilising the defence and helping them regain confidence.  Would have Hampson in if he was fit though.

Poole always has the goal threat in him. He is always tightly marked (and kicked!) but  I'd keep him in personally as he is a player capable of coming up with something special. Perhaps the player most affected by the heavier pitches.

Need to get Jordan Hulme back amongst the goals - his purple patch earlier in the season coincided with our best run and when we opened up the points gap.

Can't be there tomorrow but good luck to the lads.

I reckon it's time for a slight change in tactics and suggest this line-up.

                       Thompson

  Densmore       Harrison       Hannigan       White

          Richman      Moult        Harrop

                            Hancock

                       Hulme        Poole

This will hopefully tighten us up a bit in midfield and stop James from being man-marked so much. He should have been pushed up front last Tuesday when their No 6 was following him everywhere. JJ not doing enough for a starting place at the moment.

Anything other than a 4-2-3-1 formation is pure fantasy, we won't change from that. We haven't all season.

You're probably right but we can live in hope that Parky realises that teams are sussing us out.

Don't need to press the panic button just yet, so I can't see many changes. White for Hampson is forced, after that probably Hancock for Peers.

Alty 1-0 Mickleover. Hancock.
