His best performance since Colchester I’d say. I know the opposition is in no way comparable, but he was top notch from minute one. Won everything in the air, tackled hard and fair and distribution was excellent. Great skippers performance, head and shoulders above everyone on that pitch today.

He’s been looking jaded recently, so it’s great to see him back to his best, hopefully augurs well for the run in.

I think at lot of it was due to his being reunited with Richman, who was also excellent today.

They work well as a pair. Jake is aerial. Ringo less so but he picks up the pieces. Jake also had to contend with their number 9 who was more physical than Jordan.
