Gone with the weather. We should look at playing friendlies in May, and running the season from June to October leaving the rest clear to mop up any outstanding fixtures  ;D

Amazing there's no 'strong' contenders this year - what a great season!  I miss the days of Frank.

There'll be plenty of Knob Socks in the NLN I suspect.

Joke vote or not, how disappointing people could think so little of fellow fans to vote for those choosing to stay away. A proportion of those taking this stance have put in more hours, Miles and pounds over the years than most. And they will never be replaced by ‘spectators’ on a day out. For all this weeks celebrations marking beginning to get back to square one, the club will unfortunately not be unified until such time that there is new chairman at the helm. That’s not an opinion, it’s fact. The team always comes first for me, and always will. But those that have chose to stay away should be afforded a bit more respect. The club is not one man, and was here long before and will be long after any one chairman.

Football brings people together who would usually never mix in the same circles, under one banner, and opinions will always be differing for that reason. Would I sooner see a new figured head and a united club and fan base going forward? Yes, without a doubt, no one wants anyone cast out to purgatory for all enternity, they just want a change of figurehead. These are people who have stood through all the sh*t and the darkest days, it’s easy to support a football team that wins every week, but you need your hardcore when the chips are down. Disagree with people’s stance by all mean, but afford them a bit more respect...

Indeed, but by including stay away supporters AND directors in the poll, this was always going to happen. The fan base is split on this issue and this poll will be no different. For every vote nominating the stay away supporters I suspect another will be added for the directors and vice-versa. Sad, but true.

I don't think it's the "directors" that people have a problem with. It's just 1 of them.

After being heckled out of appointing Matt Doughty though which was the original preference.

Do you think people are that stupid?

That is nonsense, we’d be sat in tenth place crowing about consolidation under Matt Doughty, but for Devine interventions.

The thought doesn't even bear thinking about.

At least Buzz had the good grace to congratulate Alty on our title when he'd been so miffed last Summer.
