Of BBC Six Music fame, has just given the Alty a shout on his radio programme.

He was at the game on Saturday apparently. Enjoyed the football and the beer festival by all accounts.

Up the Robins!

I thought the Fall was what happened to us in 2015/6/7.

I used to regularly see him in the Railway and the Volunteer in Sale, where he would say hello and appeared to have no airs and graces until one time when he had brought some guests from his radio show, and he was telling them in a very loud voice for the pub to hear how he got calls from Lou Reed when he was in his kitchen.
Will he be boasting about calls from Phil Parkinson now?

Haven't all of us been a member of The Fall at some stage in our lives...?!

To be fair he never came across as big head to me..........his team used to win the Railway music quiz every week in the mid-90s when I lived close by............There were not actually that many pubs in the town centre (including those closed by the police) back then.

Always interesting to see how many coppers would come in from next door after time when their shift ended !

He gave the Alty match day experience another mention as he handed over to Gideon Cos at the end too. All complimentary
