Following on from the Macc strange-one's post. It was something I thought about last month. How about Colin Heath for a trial.

I think he scored four league goals last season for Macc. (similiar number to a certain Mr O'Neill at York.)

I think he's a local lad and he looked pretty lively for United reserves when they played at Moss Lane. May not want to go part-time, but may not have the choice.

Not sure about salary expectations, but it seems he's available, surely worth a quick look or scout/phone call, etc.

I'm ready to be shot down in flames which is fine. I was just reading other threads about the need for another striker, and I was looking at locally based free agents.....

Did anyone else see him play at Moss Lane for United reserves? thoughts? etc?

"The two Colin's/Little and Heath" running out to the sounds of Wagners Valkyries nonsense! Whoppee!

Seriously lads I think Colin Heath is presently clubless, although he lacks a bit in the talent department hew certainly makes up for it in his effort, would be a good signing for you lot if you can persuade him to go part time.

All you need do is change a single "b" to an "e" and it changes the whole meaning of the sentence!
