I'll echo the thanks for such a great informative site.

I'll like to add specific thanks and praise for the maintenance of the historic archives of news and information - I had a look through a lot of it over xmas this year and its really good to be able to look back so far - I hope its preserved in some form for the future?
This is an important point, the vast content does need to be preserved

I’m fairly certain the new website is being developed on a new domain, so the old website will be left as-is for people to browse as they please. Almost like a time capsule.

That's ok as long as they domain name is maintained...at which expiry point it disappears doesn't it?

We can pay to maintain the website in its current site, can't see it being too expensive.
