Let's just make sure we are the team that upset Chorley. Get that and I'll forgive tonight.

Five points dropped this week against one average side and a team who in the bottom three

Could and should be second in the league.

Very disappointed

Joint second leakiest defence in the league now with Southport on nine. Chorley have not yet conceded a goal!

But we are the highest scorers on ten.

By the way, this time last season we were 19th. Tonight we are 10th.

What was the attendance?
Announced as 1704 I think.

A few thoughts, in no particular order...

Perhaps a risk to change 3 of the 4 starters in the back four from Saturday.
I thought Ben Harrison had a decent game.
Dens always need match time to get back to his best.
I haven't been impressed with Daniels so far.
Hancock was badly missed - his contribution can be underrated
Thought Williams was busy but doesn't create much.
Max is another who looks like he needs games under his belt to be firing 100%
Would have liked to see Tom Peers on earlier
JJ's passing was woeful.
Maybe the travelling to/from Spennymoor and a crazy game there took our edge off tonight
No need to panic, we deserved a draw
From where I was stood, James Jones makes a better door than a window
Half time brew was good

Too slow allover the pitch.

Despartly need Poole or Hancock back.

Having 2 CBS on the bench is a bit bizzare

In so many areas we were better...chazing lost causes on several occasions...but no spark or real creativity up front. Too many poor passes.
First game in 7 years for me....bit of a bugger.
One big plus...great to see Dens giving his all.

Very disappointing. Played some great football at times but a bit of a reality check. In the first half fc united looked every bit a bottom of the table side. They gifted us time and space but we lacked someone to take responsibility in the final 3rd. We tried to pass the ball into the net.
Nothing's changed much since last season - we play the same predictable passing game which is very pleasing to watch and effective against poor sides. This is a different level. As soon as Fc pressed us in the second half we gave the ball away, were largely ineffective and they took their chances.
I enjoy watching Altys  style of football, but in my opinion we lack physicality.and there is still no plan b. Fine against poor sides but very easy to set up against if you have versatile players as many of the top sides will have. Watched Buxton and Workington do it to us last season - this is a whole different level.
Don't think we are in danger of a relegation battle, but at the moment I think we are short of challenging.
Thought Daniels was our main threat, he's got something different, has Hulme lost a yard of pace since last year or is it just the step up in level?

Just my personal opinion. Say what I saw. First game this season.
Daniels was in and out of the game true,  just thought he looked to have that game changing ability in his locker. Hume played well, passing and movement good,  just think he doesn't look as sharp as last season.

Hulme got a knock early on which I don't think he completely ran off. Daniels clearly has talent and with his pace and build should destroy players but surprisingly weak and loves rolling around each game, which also breaks down our attacking play.

Hulme will stay on his feet and drag three defenders with him. Reminds me of an NFL running back trying to make that last yard. Daniels should try this method and maybe he'll average a goal a game.

I agree with most comments on here, we are all frustrated with not getting our deserved three points last night. We need to kill opposition off with our domination. Final third let us down last night, key players missing for me.  We were leggy near the end and FCUM got their second wind and didnt press them as they advanced.

I believe we can progress in this league. Need time to settle and I am sure PP will recruit other players if and when needed should we not hit the mustard over the coming 6 games or so

Leamington was a bit of an unknown for me, as first games generally are. Southport was a pleasant surprise, and I came away from Spennymoor bemused not to have won. Last night was such a frustrating loss because it was the first game of the season that held a degree of expectancy much unlike the other three.

It was just so Alty.

Pulling in a crowd triple that of our first Tuesday night Evo-Stik game, seeing a few faces return to the terraces to give it another try, and tripping over our own feet. Its football, but its also a very bad habit this club has had for as long as I've watched them.

Football wise - I know we're better than that, they know they're better than that. I do worry that we didn't really seem to change anything in terms of chasing the game, it was very much just more of the same and hope it comes off. Severely missed Hancock as others have stated. Quite a few heavily reactionary comments in this thread though in my opinion. At least we're in a situation where the problem areas are quite blatant. I'd be more concerned if we were underperforming across the pitch and didn't really know where to start addressing things.
