I know they're 3rd but the form isn't really that outstanding. They got turned over at Leamington, and only just got home against winless Nuneaton - albeit they finished with 10 men. The 3-0 win at FCUM could just be a flash in the pan.

Won't be easy, but we have the character to win this.

Hard fought 1-1 draw in front of a crowd of 901. Williams free-kick.

I know Boston thumped fc united but I don't think it would have been any different for us had we gone ahead against fc united early. They looked fragile and we allowed them to grow in confidence. They changed their game plan at half time which afforded us far less space.
Gong 2-1 Alty with my heart. We have quality that's not in doubt. If Boston press us from the start I worry as they are clearly decent. Still think Daniels can be key for us but when you play a short passing game his pace is clearly wasted. Would be nice to see him going one on one with defenders, never really got that opportunity in the last match. He's with Port Vale for a reason.

Hard fought 2 1 win in front of a decent crowd. I'd probably give Daniels a rest from the starting line up. Don't know who is available but if all were it'd be:

TT, White, Hampson, Hannigan, Goulding, Williams, Richman, Hancock/Poole, Johnston, Peers, Hulme

Not sure how I feel about the 4231 vs 433 thing. At Prem level I despise the former, but it suited us well last season, and when Poole comes back I assume we'll go back to it properly.

I want to see Peers given a proper go.

The days of a flat midfield three are completely numbered.

Altrincham 1-1 Boston

This team but with Peers out right, JJ left and Williams in for Daniels. Play Williams higher up,that's if Hancock is still injured.
Then bring Harrop on second half.

Shoot towards the Golf Road end first half.

We looked terrible going 433 on Tuesday, they started running past us in wide areas. Our width, which is one of strongest games, completely went. Improve JJ's composure and have Peers knocking them across and we'll do well. Really need Hancock fit to support Hulme.

I wonder if Parkie has ever considered a 3-4-3 to give us an extra centre half, still the 2 holders in centre mid and a flexible front 3. The full backs we have are capable of getting up n down the wings.

I'd love this, but unless we go on a horrendous run I can't see such a dramatic change, so I hope not to see it.
