Wasnt there so hard to judge. Some of these comments and those on social media seems that some must have been bursting last year for us to fail. Lets see how we do over the next five games before over reacting

Some might have an alternative agenda but I'm not looking for an opportunity to bash the club. We were second best during the first half which left me hoping for a 0-0 draw at half time. In the second half they got therir lead and we never looked like we would be able to pull it back. The referee didn't help our cause but Boston always deserved the points.

It was a bitter pill to take but it is the first game out of five where we were outplayed.

Very good interview I’ve seen tonight though with PP.

Whilst talk is cheap he’s clearly fuming with what we produced yesterday. Also read that we are gradually getting the full squad up to match fitness now. Onto Darlington with hopefully a renewened sense of purpose from the lads after what sounds like it will be 2 hard training sessions this week.

Even if I don't  always agree with PP (on this one I do), there is never a time when I find his comments show any inclination to paper over the cracks. Total respect.

I am encouraged by that interview. He has acknowledged what went wrong, and stating, as we know, that these players can play better than that, without trying to paper over the cracks, or blame the referee or whatever.

It reminds me of the away game at Matlock early last season where he agreed we were poor, but then turned it around, starting with the following game.

Let's hope that history repeats in this instance.
