I am so sorry. I knew relatives of his in North Wales many years ago - my condolences to them and all his family and friends.

I was an alty fan before I worked with Kev for a number of years as a paperboy at his newsagents

He loved sport and he took me to many many away games over a couple of years period

Lots of funny memories of him . Queues of people waiting for the Pink final . It's like another Era now

So many memories and he rarely complained even in poor health

Il miss our catch ups kev over the phone where we would reminisce

You never lost your sense of humour

The last time i saw him a few months ago at the medical centre he shouted to the nurses ... chop it off

That was Kev . A  joker and that's why we got on and that's how ill remember you mate

RIP

Very sorry to hear this news.

Kevan worked alongside my Dad at the Shell Chemicals plant at Carrington and he was a tremendous supporter of Altrincham FC over many years (and a truly unmistakable figure at countless football matches!).

Two particularly enjoyable away trips in his car spring to mind: Alty winning the Alliance Premier League Cup at Kettering in April 1981 and a Cheshire Senior Cup Final victory over Runcorn at Gresty Road in April 1982.

He exhibited both admirable stoicism and an abiding sense of humour in the face of his serious health problems, too.

Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Very sad news. In would occasionally run into Kev in matches in North Wales, and was a very occasional customer at his shop, where he would tell me about  everything going on in football. RIP.

Kev used to save my Pink for me, and if I didn't make it by closing time I'd pick it up on Sunday. Always spent time in the shop talking football in general, and Alty in particular. A smashing bloke, gone too soon. RIP mate.
