At home in FA Cup

Huge one. Proven cup fighters who knocked out Whitby.

No game with a Northern League side is ever easy - just think back 12 months to Shildon. League record so far this season played 6, won 3, lost 3. goals 13-15 (odds on 0-0??). Four times FA Vase winners. Not the easiest tie we could have got!

We beat similarly placed Morpeth comprehensively with the biggest collection of spastics we’ve ever put together. I expect a home win

Agreed, it's a great draw and we really shouldn't be referring to this as a banana skin - anything less than a win would be disastrous.

Main Site says Game is on the 22nd Febuary :-*

Would love to be still in the cup by then perhaps with a

Big pay day at Old Trafford.

Phil Parkinson has a good record against Whitley Bay in the Cup.

I happened to attend the 3rd round qualifying tie at Hillheads Park in October 2008 when Nantwich Town, captained by Phil Parkinson, won 5-1 away. Darren Tinson also featured, but the star player was Mike Lennon (who I always thought could have done a job for us) scored 4 goals. Hopefully, that is a good omen, although any sort of win would be welcome.
