Not even under the why get involved in Alty commercial link......one could be forgiven for getting the impression we don't want major investment...

Official website still all squashed and text overlaying over other text....otherwise it's looking lovely...who is the webmaster??

Having used the main website for a couple of months now I have to say its a regressive step. Its all style over substance. It was only thanks to John Laidlers Alty Files that I got the information about Callum Harris signing and the fact that Lloyd Bannister had now left the club.

Agreed. Great thanks to JL for keeping us so well updated. I like the new site, but we do not get up to date information and the club shop has still not been updated to include our full range of goods - remembering that Christmas is not all that far away!

I hate the new site. It might look professional etc but it is hard to navigate and slow and lacking in information. I stick mainly with JL and on here.

It's an excellent foundation to put a bit more substance into...looks really modern

By substance if we are looking for investment why aren't we putting that info onto our centrepiece media???

I confess

Got some negative comments on here a bit back for slating the new website - but give up on it several weeks ago and deleted from my 'favourites' - only look at the ever excellent JL site now

Didn't realise the "old website" had started again with John. Why is that?

Must say I prefer this layout, get the info you want and easy to access.

I don't mind the new website, it is just very slow updating, JL is much quicker with his updates but I use all the Alty sites cos I am then fully informed; and I simply enjoy reading them all.

Lloyd Bannister played for Atherton Collieries last night, but Colls say that he has signed only on loan from ouselves. Confusion reigns!

As for the websites, I think the two do compliment each other so I look at both.

You are probably not alone. If I need to access it I go to John's site first, and then link to it from there.
