Entertaining afternoon, especially second half, against the ten men. First half we should have been at least 3-0 up, finishing was much better in second half and we ran away with it in the end.

Congrats to the lads and into the draw for next round which is the main thing.

Good to see us win at home as well.

Well, my prediction of a close range turned out to be incorrect, I am happy to say, although we were aided by a sending off which I don't think would have been given by all referees. The Seahorses did try to play good football, although they were reduced to attempting damage limitation long before the end.

Besides Tom Peers' form and the healthy state of the pitch, it was also nice to see a game which was over before 4:50!

New we'd win when I saw them warming up with an orange mitre ball.

Did what we had to do with aplomb. Should have been 10. Harrop and Williams were standout but all were on it.

Someone sh*te at home next please

Is it still regionalised to keep north and midlands apart next round?

Lowest ranked are Dunston UTS, another Northern League team, but they’re unbeaten and I never like that. Kidsgrove still in it, also Witton would normally be a decent draw but we always do crap against them regardless of form.

A fairly routine win against opposition who you would expect to beat, great to see Jordan back he looked lively and lead the line, we have missed him. I think the points on the board about missed chances will be one of the takeaways for PP, we won't get that many chances in the next half dozen Conference North games added together. We do need to be more clinical if we are going to have any success this season.
Brilliant goal from Peers which was the highlight of the afternoon, and when he came on we had two forwards, which gave Jordan some support in the box, I think he misses this at times. The goal when Jordan pulled it back for Tom was a good example of this.
Just took a while to get going today, but after that one way traffic. £9000 for winning today, and £15000, if we can win the next game, bring on the draw....

Good win as expected against a Whitley bay team who played the game in the right spirit,
Could have been a much bigger score but no complaints from me.
Very happy to see James Poole get more game time.
Home game for me next Saturday at Kiddy..

We will get the best out of peers if we can pick him out when he makes his runs in behind, We picked him out for his 2nd from his brilliant movement to get in behind. He scored from a similar run against Shaw Lane at home, the first goal. Once he's away he has the pace and power to get through and get a shot off.

I'd guess  that Tom Peers's chances to goals ratio is better than Jordan Hulme's.

Sorry I didn't ask my question very well - I think the midlands get chucked in as well now (as per other thread)?
