Perhaps this has already been answered somewhere but what's happened to Lloyd Bannister. He impressed in pre-season, there was some stuff about his international clearance and then....silence or did I miss an announcement?

Thank you. I thought he was good enough to get a game but PP clearly knows better.

Would like to have seen him be given a chance nevertheless. Next thing you know, players are then moved on without getting a chance. Don't always understand the thinking behind this, I'm afraid.

He went off injured very early on Saturday. Hope it's nothing serious.

Maybe it's part of the improved scouting infrastructure. Goes out on loan, is watched and in some cases a recommendation is made to move the individual on.

Lloyd has done his cruciate ligament, and is out for the season. Good luck to the lad for a complete recovery.
