Looking at that appalling squad, how on earth did Nuneaton only take the lead, 'against the run of play?' It's almost inconceivable. And we scored too.

Alty 7/10
Draw 14/5
Nunny 15/4

Watched the highlights of their game at stockport on Saturday, they should have been 3-0 infront at half time

Need to carry on this good home form. Think both Hancock and Dale will start with Harrop playing more defensively.

Alty 2-0 Nuneaton. Hulme Hancock.

Sure the lads will be looking to play some good football tonight and carry on the current good home form. Would like to see Hancock in the team behind Hulme with Owen on the wing.

Come on you Robins!

Job done. Scoring when we did killed it. Looked a bit off at times first half but never in doubt second half. Needed six points from these last two games to be taken seriously as play off contenders and we got them. Well done lads.

4-0 a bit flattering but was a comfortable win. Scoring the first 2 goals just either side of HT won the game

Back 4 superb again, Johnston my mom.

Enjoyed the game tonight, my MOM could have been any from Tom Hannigan, Owen Dale and JJ. All players did their bit for me, a good all-round performance by the lads. Chorley dropped points again, win our game in hand over Chorley and we are six points behind them, and still to play home and away. On a winning streak now and I bet we give both Hereford and Chester a game in next couple of weeks.

Given time could be playoff contenders and would not discount us as possible champions. On our day we are capable of giving any team a decent game in this league. Let's see how far we can get.

We were dreadful in the first half, but scoring in stoppage time, then being gifted a second straight from the restart, took any pressure off us. After that, it was just a matter of how many we won by.

How on earth Harrop won MOM is beyond me. He put practically every pass astray in the first half, and was substituted midway through the second ! I thought Dale was very good tonight, JJ was the logical choice for MOM (but only he knows how he missed his hat trick after Hulme set him up perfectly), however Hannigan was my choice.

It was a comfortable and deserved win in the end, even if it was a touch flattering and didn't look so sure in the first half. JJ was my man of the match, too, although I take One Foot in the Grave's point that he missed his easiest chance.
Nuneaton do seem to have a prospective buyer now, so it looks like a good night all round, if those reports are true.

How did the 2nd goal go in? I'd looked away assuming it was simple for the keeper.

It squirmed through his legs and had enough energy left to trickle over the line.

First half was like the Alamo. Nuneaton were playing out of their skins to keep a clean sheet. Once we'd got the first goal I expected them to fold. All credit to them for keeping going to the end. Even at 3 - 0 down they still tried to come back.

Just back home after a cold evening in Alty.
Fair dos to Nunny who fought hard throughout. There no3 must be the smallest player I've seen at moss lane ever. I honestly thought he was the mascot when he came out. I bet JJ felt like a giant against him.

A good win, now it's onwards to Hereford next Saturday.

Cmon Alty...

Decent win.

Took us 35 mins to get going. We stepped up the tempo and started to shift the ball quicker.

Great runs by JJ  second half. Dale had a good game.

Back 4 and Moult were solid.

Onwards and upwards. Well done lads.

Wikipedia have him at 1.77 metres (a shade over 5'9") which simply can't be right ! Certainly smaller than Chris Senior (whatever happened to him ?)
