For those planning to go to Hereford on Saturday next - it seems they operate a cashless admission system (i.e. you have to get a ticket from the ticket office & take it to the turnstile). For what it's worth they offer online booking - I used it today; it seems simple enough, & it cuts down the amount of cash needed on the day, but you still have to go to the office & pick up the physical ticket. From the look of the info on their website visiting fans will get the same rather pokey bit of the far (Edgar St.) side stand and terrace that we got many moons ago. I pass the info on in case it helps anyone planning to attend! £15 to sit down, £13 to stand.

I am going to sit and pay the extra that away terrace is an insult, apart from that Hereford is a decent city with some good pubs and eateries and the chance to visit the cathedral and see the famous Mappa Mundi for those arriving early

Can't do Hereford, as it's my annual jaunt to the Times Crossword Championship. A ground I've never crossed off too, but maybe there'll be another chance.

Thankfully there have been no awful puns about playing 4 across the middle or being 2 down at half time etc.

You've always been too cryptic for me.

p.s. I'm planning on avoiding the Westons for fear of shouting aggressively at passers by from the gutter.....it's a marathon, not a sprint, etc

I’ve decided to try the train for a change, getting the wife to drive me to Preston. I’ll be on the 12:08 from Crewe

The ‘direct’ train from Paddington for us, just the 16 stops. Long day off the pitch in prospect, going to be a cracker.

Starting 11 has picked itself. Defo fancy getting a positive result.

Hereford 1-2 Alty. Hulme Hannigan.

Hereford 6/4
Draw 12/5
Alty 17/10

They are definitely due a win but still surprised to see them at that price, albeit they are a proper name at this level so imagine they are nearly always priced up as favourites when at home. HT the draw and FT Alty at 5/1 on Bet 365 appeals.

They are in a bit of transition, recent managerial change plus a few players in and out.
They have a healthy following at home.

Will be happy with a draw, but could be anything

Good point.

Sounded like Hancock wasn't great but that's 2 goals in 2 games as No.10😉. I love mentioning him as number 10.

Radio Robins mentioned Harrop very deep,he was like that on Tuesday night and he doesn't look great there. We don't need two defensive mids. Williams pushes on,Harrop should play in a similar way but I feel he has been told to sit deep.

Maybe give Scott a go in midfield if he has a good engine. I am excited to see Gabidon given more minutes. Maybe should have been a much earlier sub for Dale.

Peers scored for FC United. I would have kept hold of him until we had a replacement signed.

Keep it going lads.

I've been told James Poole was always intended to play further forward this year, that's why Daniels was recruited as a stop gap for him. I'm assuming his current injury has definitely been confirmed as not a serious one hence allowing Tom to go. Karma for Blyth with their classless p*sstaking of his miss earlier on for us for him to score today.

As regards the game this afternoon I think it's a really good point all things considered. Look at that Blyth game, FCUM or Curzon. It may be we're learning how to get points without being anywhere near our best.
