Must say it was a great header from Moult to Hulme for the winner
......... but it was a foul from what I saw..........
Certainly the Chester fans in the stand opposite were all on their feet in some sort of animated protest so I suspect you might be right.
Having just watched the YouTube highlights there was no foul from Jake or Jordan.

Maybe stand corrected that there wasn't a foul committed by Jake. Does that lad ever take a breath...

Goals from Saturday.

Rather mysteriously Chester FC only seem to be able to provide commentary for their goal.

Jake seemed to be grappling with their no.3. For us I say his run was being blocked, for them I'd say Jake was trying to wrestle him out of the way. If the no.3 had concentrated on the ball and not the player he might have cleared it.

Could they be any briefer?

I note the highlights I previously saw via the National League Twitter page were about 3 times as long but had been edited to make it look like Chester had about 500 shots on goal and Alty 3.

Great roar from our lot when both goals went in and I was amused by our lads winding up their crowd after the second goal. One of those clubs Chester who think they are much bigger than they are so was good to put them in their place.

Had to laugh at the bloke in the red coat who seemed very upset by the second goal.
Chester fans seem obsessed by how many Alty fans were there - there was a thread about it on their forum and they keep popping up in various Facebook groups too. If you lose the game then why not claim a moral victory by claiming that 'they hardly brought any'.

Yes, I saw that. Because, I think one person on here guessed we might take 500, we were ‘boasting’ about our away following, when in fact most said somewhere between 350-400, as it indeed turned out. It then moved onto how quiet we were, when on that Chester fans vlog you could only hear Alty fans. They certainly come across as a slightly weird and embittered bunch.

I reckon the beardy T**t in the red was going to ask Jordon for his autograph but realised he didn't have a pen

Sit down you tosser...

If he did then Chester FC (not City) should ban him

Re the guy in red, he should know better at his age. He leapt from the 3rd row to the very front to admonish our players.

It is times like that when the team result gives me pleasure, no more than he deserved.

And one or two of our fans leapt to the front when things got a bit tasty on the pitch, so let's not get all holier than though about it.

Doesn't look like he spat to me. That bloke didn't do anything that various Alty fans didn't do at full time of the Shaw Lane away game. We're also the worst club in Britain for hurling obscenities at the match officials. Perhaps take a look at ourselves a bit first.
