One of the best performances since 2014 promotion  looked like the York fan on the pitch was very close to assaulting their manager , scandalous he should be banned by them

Very even first half albeit 2 contrasting styles. Second half was the best we've played since PP took over. Superb from everyone and a well deserved mom for Moult. I must say that Hannigan is the best CB I've seen in this league.

Not sure how I feel about next weeks Trophy game, and they probably feel the same

Playing alongside Tom Hannigan must be an absolute dream for young James Jones.

Just coming on to say today was great by the team. York had a stubborn defence but we were patient. First half was a bit scrappy as York made it difficult fair play to them. Second half we looked like a team that can definitely be in the playoffs. We made loads of chances and got the rewards. To think they’re full time and had overweight journeymen coming on! Their number 6 should have gone straight red. We looked younger and better all around. It’s looking good at the mo!

I think their "fan" just got ejected from the ground. No further action as far as I could see. Plenty of fans on their forum think he did what they didn't have the bottle to do.

I think they are where we were two seasons ago. A sprinkling of talent, a few injuries and lots of journeymen. On top of that they've fallen a lot further than we did and they're about to lose Bootham Crescent.

I think that was the most controlled performance I’ve seen since the unibond winning year (1999?) Every player was superb but Moult and Hannigan were the stand out players. It’s such a pleasure to watch this team, we need to enjoy it while we can!

Spoke very briefly with James Poole before the game. He was so positive about the technical ability of the the whole squad of players at the club and also spoke about the team spirit at the club created by PP and NS - in effect they want to play for each other and are united as a team. Good to hear.

As for today, well it has all been said, but second half was immensely impressive

It rather reminded me of watching an FA Cup tie where the gallant underdogs are eventually squashed by the superior skills of their opponents. York were definitely the underdogs today.

Well, here we go again. These drives back and to from Shropshire are a lot more pleasant these days.
Another emphatic win against a York side who considering they are full time were made to look quite ordinary by our second half performance..
A spectacular opener by Josh. Looking fwd to seeing that on the highlights.
Jake was again immense as were others in the side especially Hannigan .
In fairness there keeper was superb also.
Great to see 1600 plus crowds at Moss lane.
The place is bouncing again, long may it continue.
Roll on BPA..

I was just going to post that the highlights were on the Vanarama site! The quality isn't the best though.
What an excellent second half. I thought that York just about edged the first half but without creating any real chances.
No one has mentioned Simon Richmond's contribution. He was everywhere.
Well done to everyone involved.
Only down side for me was the big long queues in the bar but good revenue for the club! SBL

Jones can hold his own and deserves his own credit.

Very good defender and I believe it will be him or Hulme we lose first.

To add we were class second half.
Moult has gone onto a new level.
The direct attacking football was unreal.
This is the best football I've seen us since the McKenna and Showler days without doubt.
