I wasnt there today unfortunately but is there any opinions on the new lad?

Sounds like a great win and wouldn’t rule out this team from doing anything.

Judging by the commentary I would say he had a mixed game, but certainly has promise. Gets himself into good positions.

New lad was good on the ball and direct although he needs to learn to track back too.

I was there and frankly wasn't that impressed with the new lad.  When defending he just stood off and backed away rather than attempting a tackle, their full back went passed him far too easily.

going forward he gave the ball away quite a lot, I felt some of the team had lost confidence in him by half way through the second half and weren't passing to him when it was the obvious ball.

Rest of the team were spot on though a really good win

Well played everyone yesterday, superb result. Think it’s too soon to get on Mantacks back. Pretty sure Phil st al will be getting him into the game plan.

Let’s keep it going. Playing some superb football at present ⚽️😀👍

Agreed, give the lad a chance and time to blend in with the team, take another 3-4 games for him to find his feet. He needs to learn how we play, his responsibilities and adapt accordingly.

I back Phil's and Neil's judgement in signing him. the more they give him a chance, the better it will benefit us.

Well done to the management and team for engineering this win, as I said we are right in the mix now; plus I predicted the score correctly at 2-1!

Some highlights of the Brackley win are on here (in video player section on left):

Andy White's goal was particularly good!

Apart from the sound being out of sync with the pictures the brief highlights make very pleasant viewing!
As to Mantack - it took a few games for Owen Dale to find his feet completely, so let's not expect miracles from this young man just yet. I have the impression that the management know on what aspects of his game they want him to improve.

just watched those highlights and was nonplussed by the new lads reaction to richmans goal....

after his chance was cleared off the line he seemed ok...but when simon rolled the rebound into the net he seemed furious...

perhaps PP can get some team celebrating of team goals sorted for him?

the other players were pleased enough for him when he scored the 4th v bpa for example....

We know how to welcome new players to the club, don't we.

Shall we give him and the management team a few games to get things right, perhaps?

Mantak will not have played many games as intense and physical as that and although he got caught out a couple of times he also showed in flashes that he has something- hopefully he has the right attitude and we can see him progress. He improved during yesterday’s game and it will help when he really knows his role - the impressive thing about Alty at the moment is that feeling that everyone knows exactly what he should be doing in any given situation

A bit of an odd reaction to us scoring, but obviously upset he didn't put his chance away. Not going to slate him after about 100 mins for us. The county fans speak highly of him.

Good goal from White.

Well done to those that went and got behind the team.

The reason Kallum was angry was because he thought (as did I) that he had been denied a goal by handball on the line. Not angry with Simon at all. Spoke to him after the game. He is really happy to be here and knows he is still on a learning curve.

Give him time
