Waterlogged pitch?
« on: December 06, 2018, 10:09:22 AM »

My session at the Altrincham athletics club was cancelled last night due to a waterlogged track. Standing water everywhere. More rain forecast so saturday will be the first chance to see how the improved drainage is holding up. That playing surface is so important to our game.

I would have thought the covers have been on this week, this weather would certainly have tested them...

Are they rain covers or frost covers or both?

See Telford match thread. Shall we say I'm not surprised?
