Alty 5/6

Stockport 13/5

Hopefully we can put a marker down ahead of two big games over Christmas and it doesn’t rain too much in the next few days too. Attendance guesstimate around 1200-1300.

Impressive win for stockport last night. Let’s hope they are a bit battle weary on Saturday. It would be good get off to a flyer in the Christmas triology. The trophy is always there for the winning for decent conference north outfit as Brackley showed again last year

They're the most erracit team ever. Win 1, lose 1, draw 1.

They're therefore due a loss.

Think we will go all out for the win, a draw is the worse outcome for both parties.

Think Hemmings will start in front of Mantack.

Not sure how many they will bring.

Alty 2-0. Hulme Hemmings

I see that Stockport have already announced details for any possible replay, including cut-price admission (£10 adult, £7 concessions). As a matter of interest, does anyone know if we are cutting prices on Saturday or keeping to the usual League match rates?

I think we would have announced by now if we were cutting admission price.

I'd rather pay the £13 (at either ground)  and the game was concluded at the first time of asking, whether it be et and pens or straight to pens.

Hope we can beat Stockport this Sat. Will give the lads confidence for the two games against them in the league

i am sure we can win the focus must surely be on keeping the momentum going, though i for one would swap a trophy defeat for 4pts out of six against them over Christmas

Have they started a thread about who they want in the next round yet!? ;) :P

And has someone painted the back of the popular stand?!  ;) #naff paint on my coat

Let's hope the covers are put on the pitch in good time & are able to protect it. This game needs to be played on Saturday - another Leamington saga would be unthinkable!

Seems like the majority of fans on their forum would rather they jack the trophy in.

I'd rather have a good run in it tbh.

Someone will probably have to shout on my behalf. My partner needs the car on Saturday, and I've developed bloody gout again, so bussing/walking won't work.
