Max Harrop summed up the game, dreadful first half but much improved second.

Not many came out with much credit but Hemmings was superb. I hope his last gasp 'winner' was chalked off for hand ball (because it was) and not offside (because it wasn't)

Expect Winn to be reinstated in Wednesday as Thompson was horrendous

I thought Max was looking a little rusty in the first half. OK in the second half. Pleased to see him not diving in to get booked today.

Take a point after being 3 - 1 down.....first half was poor

Second half we ran our socks off - full credit to 'em all

Dissallowed goal ? ....but a few let offs before that where Darlo could have won the game

If that apology for a linesman was right to disallow our "winner", it was about the only thing the useless inept T**t DID get right all afternoon. I've seen children's parents running the line on a Sunday who could at least keep up with play for a full game. He should be made to flush his flag down the lavatory.

The way it came across on the radio commentary was that there seemed to be poor communication between TT and the defense. One ability a keeper really needs is to shout - another is to be decisive.

The other thing that really came across on RR was just how abysmal the officials were, especially the card happy ref.

Thought the sh@t ref got into the Xmas spirit by the number of fkn cards he handed out.
I'm 65 and I'm sure I could have kept up with play better than the T**t in black running the line on the popular side.

Poor first half in which the team didn't seem able to pick up the pace of the game.
Much better second half by the lads. Especially Jake and Max. My MoTM though was Hemmings, an exciting player.

Thompson does worry me at times, would like to see Wynne have a bit of a run in the side.

The weather doesn't look too bad for the next 10 days so hopefully the covers can be used just to keep any showers etc off the grass once it's been repaired and allowed to breath etc

Merry Xmas forumites.

Along with others on here, I thought we looked off the pace in the first half.  I stayed in the Golf Road end during the first 90 and, frankly, it was heart in the mouth stuff at times given the way our defence seemed to allow them space to play.  Second half was far better all round and I was disappointed that we didn't get the win; I'm sure that they will be relived that they managed to get a point.  What I find most frustrating is our apparent insistence on playing the ball laterally in front of our goal; all it serves to do is invite their forwards to have a go at disrupting, something they managed to do successfully a number of times this afternoon.  We are a good team capable of beating anyone in this league on our day, however, it relies on us dictating the pace to the opposition and playing direct football.  This, I suggest, was the main difference between the first and second half today.
