As Stockport are becoming something of a bogey team and the fact we dropped 2 points yesterday it's another massive game.

Assuming White and Poole are still not ready for consideration I think the only change will be Wynn in for Thompson..

County 1-1 Alty. Hancock

Attn 2456 (400 Alty)

Ps. I'll walk via the Old Vic

Further to Mrs W's superb public transport guide, the 23 bus is scheduled to call near Stretford tram stop (on Edge Lane) at 1253 & 1323, arriving Stockport Bus Station 1328 & 1358 respectively.
Return departures ex Stockport BS 1708 & 1738.
An alternative is bus 42 ex Stockport BS 1717 to East Didsbury (near tram stop) 1730, then tram to Trafford Bar & change there for Alty line.

We must put Wynne in.
Thompson was yet again terrible yesterday. Just shocking decision making and at Stockport on a huge pitch he has the potential to run into no man's land.
We started very slow yesterday. Need to come out of the blocks flying and no early bookings....... Harrop.
What is up with White?

White took a knock to knee in the Telford game. Much as I like Densmore I'd start White whenever possible

Their average home crowd is over 3200  and we took  600 plus in the cup and two years ago ,I would expect around 4k with 600 plus Alty fans

Anyone know how we get tickets? 500 people queuing at the sales windows will not be fun.

See on there website, cash only entry as before. 3 of us going. Bring on the Alty.

I agree with others I can see Wynne coming in, rest as was unless there are any injuries.

Looking forward to the match.

I see this as our biggest game so far. We need to get some sort of a result after losing in the cup games.

Here's hoping for a decent strong ref, but these seem very rare and getting rarer as it seems refs are getting worse.

In the cup games Stockport players seemed to fall to the floor at the slightest touch, which to be fair worked for them as the refs fell for it practically every time. Our players need to be reminded of that tactic as well. They had an odd tendency to hand ball it too which the refs did not see.

One thing is clear we will need to be a lot better than at the Darlo game. Like to see Wynne given a few games in net.

Merry xmas ! :-*

I half believe we can win this league now. 7 points (not unobtainable) from the next 3 games and we will be in a very very strong position. Every game in this league is tough but we now have the quality of squad depth to cope. Merry Christmas all x

I’m just hoping today we play like the team that deservedly won at Chester and Brackley and don’t have some kind of brain freeze which seems to often happen against Stockport. There’s a reason after 20/21 games we are 4th in the table and let’s hope we show that today. Stockports forum all thinking they’ll win or draw, defeat hasn’t crossed their minds, we owe them one so let’s go there and play like we have done all season, get the first goal and beat the Hatters. Come on Alty.
