I loathe that other team in red so much it hurst to see there ads. up at Moss Lane from when they paid us to host their reserves.

I want nothing whatsoever to do with them until we draw them in the cup (and beat them!)

I used to hate united but dont see the point  anymoreas they will never be our rivals.do find it funny when you bump in to the odd alty based utd or city fan who dont like alty -again they have no reason to as we will never play them in a league game.

We used to have close ties with City when Noel was Chairman at Alty and his ex partner Pete Swales was at Maine Road and do remember when Pete was chairman at Alty that was the start of our greatness as a team.The likes of Droylsden were classed as a sunday league team back then,mine you Wigan was no2 to us in those days,with Northwich,Witton and Macc of course

yeah - true about the City link.

Nothing really came of Noel White going over to Liverpool - that bit too far I suppose.

Loathing utd is in my blood - harks back to school (late 70's early 80's) when all the nobheads supported them, anyone with a brain was, of course, an Alty fan.
