What sandwiches are we all packing?

The traditional corned beef, but there will need to be a lot for the long journey!

Same starting 11. Massive game again, snap your hand off a draw.

Chorley 1-1 Alty. Hampton.

PS. I'll be driving

In a parallel universe there is a thread on a rail travel forum discussing non-league football.

A blast from the past - sandwich spread. To be eaten in the lay-by opposite the Cat and Fiddle.

It’s a head v heart game, this one. As opposed to genuinely thinking we’ll rock up and win like I have done at the majority of places this season, my head tells me we’ll narrowly fall to defeat. We are certainly capable of a result there though, Chester away proved that.

Chorley 1-0 Altrincham. O’Keefe.

Gutted not being able to attend a game virtually on my doorstep having broken my bloody ankle. As others have said, would take a draw, but we're capable of winning.

Chorley are top of the league for a reason, but their record against the better sides should give us nothing to fear. It’s 9 league games since they’ve beaten a team currently in the top half. And that was their only victory against a top half side in their last 18 league games - a run that stretches back to the end of August.

On that basis, I’d be disappointed not to come away from the game with something, and I’ll definitely be getting stuck into those odds.

The ground's hemmed in by housing on all sides so it's all on-street parking (from memory). I parked about 5 mins walk away in 2016/17 but you'd expect a much bigger crowd this time round.
